The car spent time in Missouri, Illinois, and Texas before it was acquired by the seller in July 2018. Service in 2021 included overhauling the gearbox and replacement of the clutch.
The car was finished from the factory in Glacier White (Z1) and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a black soft top, a Turbo-style front bumper cover, aftermarket xenon headlights, replacement headlights and taillight lenses, front cooling ducts, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. The soft top is said to have been reupholstered during current ownership and the seller states that it has been converted to raise and lower manually.
Black 18″ wheels from a later-model Porsche are mounted via Elephant Racing wheel studs and wrapped with Michelin and Firestone tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 out back. Braking is handled by yellow four-piston calipers with black Porsche lettering over cross-drilled rotors, and the suspension has been lowered and fitted with Bilstein dampers. The seller states that the brake pads and front rotors were replaced under current ownership.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats trimmed in tan upholstery with matching door panels, carpets, and fold-down rear seats. Amenities include air conditioning, electric windows, Porsche-branded floor mats, black Rennline pedals, and an aftermarket head unit.
A black four-spoke steering wheel wears a colored Porsche crest and frames a rotated central tachometer, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The mechanical six-digit odometer indicates 153k miles.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was fitted with a supercharger and intercooler from TPC Racing during previous ownership. The valve covers and timing chain covers were resealed in November 2019 along with replacement of the starter and a timing chain guide. Work in 2020 included replacement of the distributor and installation of a Fabspeed cat bypass X-pipe. Oil seepage is noted from the engine, and the stock intake manifold accompanies the car.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle that was overhauled by BMC & Gee of Athens, Ohio, in January 2021. Other work is said to have included rebuilding the passenger-side axle and replacement of the driver-side axle and clutch.
