This 1998 BMW M3 sedan is finished in silver over grey leather and powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Factory equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, heated sport seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control, while modifications consist of an M50 intake manifold, aluminum radiator, K&N conical air intake, aftermarket exhaust system, Bilstein strut assemblies, and aftermarket lowering springs and sway bars. The car was first registered in Pennsylvania and later relocated to Georgia where it was acquired by the seller in 2012. Service in 2021 included a cooling system overhaul and replacement of the oil pan gasket, air intake hose, lower control arms, and brake switch.
The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features a rear lip spoiler, power-operated sunroof, clear corner and side marker lights, and European-style tail lights. The foglights have been removed and black covers are mounted in their place.
Staggered-width 17″ Style 22 wheels are mounted with Yokohama S.drive tires sized 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. The car is equipped with aftermarket lowering springs and swaybars along with Bilstein strut assemblies. The lower control arms and brake switch were replaced in 2021, and an alignment and brake fluid flush were performed.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in light grey Nappa leather which extends to the door panel inserts and is complemented by a grey dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include heated sport seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a factory cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, an onboard computer, power windows, and cruise control.
An Alcantara wrapped M Tech 2 steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The digital odometer indicates 120k miles.
The 3.2-liter S52 inline-six has been modified with an M50 intake manifold, aluminum radiator, K&N conical air intake, and aftermarket exhaust system. Service carried out in 2021 included an oil change, and replacement of the cooling hoses, coolant expansion tank, thermostat, oil pan gasket, and air intake hose.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
