This 1999 Mazda MX-5 Miata is #3,123 of 7,500 10th Anniversary editions and is finished in blue over two-tone black and blue upholstery. Power is provided by a 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a dark blue convertible top, air conditioning, a Bose sound system, a Nardi steering wheel and shift knob, and polished 15″ wheels. The car was first registered in New York and spent time in Pennsylvania and Florida before it was recently acquired by the seller. The spark plugs and ignition wires were replaced in 2020 and the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
The car is finished in Sapphire Blue Mica, which was available exclusively on the 10th Anniversary Edition. Equipment includes a dark blue convertible top with a detachable boot, serialized 10th Anniversary badging, a chin spoiler, fog lights, side sills, and rear mud guards.
Polished 15″ alloy wheels wear 195/55 Yokohama Advan FLEVA tires showing 2019 date codes. The four-wheel independent suspension features Bilstein shocks, and stopping power is provided by disc brakes all around.
The interior features bucket seats trimmed in black leather with blue synthetic suede inserts as well as a blue shift boot, carpets, and “Miata 10th Anniversary” embroidered floormats. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a Nardi shift knob, a Bose audio system with a CD and cassette stereo, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
A leather-wrapped black and blue Nardi steering wheel frames instrumentation with polished gauge rings including a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. The digital odometer shows 22k miles.
The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque, and a strut tower bar is fitted to the engine bay. The spark plugs and ignition wires were replaced in August 2020, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
Service records, manufacturer’s literature, and a Mazda-branded car cover are included in the sale.
