The 4.4-liter M62 V8 has been fitted with a Dinan Vortech V2 supercharger and a Zionsville aluminum radiator as well as a Dinan exhaust system, cold-air intake, throttle body, and Stage 4 engine management software. The valve cover gaskets, water pump, coolant hoses, thermostat, and air-conditioning compressor were reportedly replaced at 65k kilometers (~40k miles) in 2014. Changes of the coolant and engine oil were carried out in February 2021, at which time the starter was also replaced.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.15:1 Quaife limited-slip differential that was installed in May 2018 along with replacement differential bearings and seals. The clutch components were reportedly replaced in 2012 at 58k kilometers (~36k miles).
