This 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 is one of 500 examples produced to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the birth of Sir William Lyons, Jaguar’s founder, and it is finished in Black Anthracite Metallic over black leather. Power is provided by a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes 19″ BBS wheels, a power sunroof, power-adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a factory cassette stereo, and a CD changer. Work performed in April 2021 consisted of replacing suspension and braking components, engine and transmission mounts, and oil and transmission pan gaskets.
The car is finished in Black Anthracite Metallic and features fog lamps, a chrome “leaper” hood ornament, black window trim, a power sunroof, parking sensors, a power antenna, polished exhaust finishers, and an “XJR 100” badge on the trunk lid. An aftermarket lower mesh grille has been added, and Jaguar Club badges are fitted on the upper grilles.
The 19″ BBS Montreal wheels wear red Jaguar center caps and 245/40 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires that show date codes from 2018. Work performed in April 2021 included replacement of the right front lower control arm assembly, sway bar end links, and front brake rotors and pads along with a brake fluid flush.
The cabin features heated seating upholstered black leather with red contrasting stitching, and Birdseye maple veneers accent the dash, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, a universal garage door opener, cruise control, polished door sill plates, a factory cassette stereo, and a trunk-mounted CD changer.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The odometer indicates 82k miles.
The supercharged 4.0-liter DOHC V8 was rated at 370 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine mounts, oil pan gasket, and air filter were replaced in April 2021 along with a cleaning of the throttle body and an oil change.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional service performed in April 2021 included replacement of the transmission mount and pan gasket as well as changes of the differential and gearbox fluids.
