This 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10 roadster was purchased new by the seller at D&E Car Exchange Inc. of Wilmington, North Carolina, and it now has just over 2,300 miles. The car is finished in Viper Black Clear Coat over black and gray leather and microsuede upholstery, and it is powered by an 8.3-liter V10 mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Introduced for the 2003 model year, the third-generation Viper was initially only offered as a roadster. This example is painted Viper Black Clear Coat and equipped with a black soft top, a hood scoop and louvers, HID headlights, fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, and a rear diffuser. The Carfax report shows no history of accidents or other damage, and the seller notes blemishes on the rear deck lid and bumper.
Polished-aluminum wheels measure 18″ in diameter up front and 19″ out back, and they are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires that measure 275/35 and 345/30, respectively. Braking is handled by gray-finished and Viper-branded four-piston calipers at each corner.
The bolstered seats are upholstered in black leather with gray microsuede inserts. Viper-branded floor mats line the footwells, and other equipment includes alloy pedals covers, air conditioning, power windows, and a CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just over 2,300 miles.
The 8.3-liter V10 was rated at 500 horsepower and 525 lb-ft of torque when new, and the oil was most recently changed in March 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
