The final iteration of the Esprit was introduced in 2002 and featured a redesigned tail panel with round taillights. This example is finished in Silver Metallic (B92) and features a body-color removable roof panel and a glass roof panel. Additional features include a front lip spoiler, a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, ducted side skirts, and central dual-exhaust outlets. The Carfax report notes damage to the left rear in June 2019 from a sideswipe collision. The left-rear quarter panel was refinished, and the rear bumper and left-rear wheel well liner and wheel arch trim are said to have been replaced following the accident.
Staggered-width 17″ and 18″ wheels are wrapped in a mixed set of Michelin tires. Cross-drilled rotors are fitted at all four corners and factory AP Racing brake calipers are fitted up front. Spax adjustable coilovers were installed in the rear in May 2021.
Manually adjustable seats are upholstered in black leather and accompanied by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, power windows and locks, Alpine speakers, and an aftermarket Alpine head unit with Bluetooth connectivity. The driver’s door window regulator was replaced in May 2021.
A Lotus Evora-sourced three-spoke steering wheel frames an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 220-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles.
The mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.5L V8 was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Both timing belts and the alternator belt were replaced in August 2016. The water pump, coolant hoses, and serpentine belt were replaced in December 2017, and the spark plugs were replaced in March 2018. The oil was changed and the radiator cooling fan was replaced in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The gearbox oil and clutch fork pin were replaced in May 2021.
