The 996 C4S featured Turbo-style bumpers and widened rear bodywork compared to the contemporary Carrera model. This example is finished in Basalt Black Metallic (C9Z) and features a power-operated sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, Litronic xenon headlights, and power-adjustable side mirrors.
Staggered-width 18″ Turbo Twist alloy wheels feature full-color Porsche crest center caps and are wrapped in 225/40 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted in November 2020. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by red-finished calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The cabin is upholstered in black full leather with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panel inserts. Additional amenities include heated front seats with driver position memory settings and embossed Porsche crests in the headrests as well as dual-zone automatic climate control, an AM/FM/CD stereo with a Bose sound system, aluminum trim on the shift knob and parking brake handle, and Porsche-branded floor mats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates just over 24k miles.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The oil was changed in November 2020.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel drive system.
