This 2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S was first registered in California and has remained in the state through the seller’s acquisition in 2018. The car is finished in Seal Gray Metallic over a gray leather interior and power comes from a 3.6-liter flat-six driving all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional features include an electric sunroof, a Bose stereo with a six-disc CD changer, heated front seats, xenon headlights, and a carbon fiber-trimmed shift knob and handbrake lever. An LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade kit was installed in 2018, and additional service performed under current ownership included replacement of the rear main seal, clutch, spark plugs, and more as detailed below. This 996 C4S has just under 38k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records and two sets of keys.
The 996 C4S featured Turbo-style bumpers and widened rear bodywork. This example is finished in Seal Grey Metallic (L6B4) and features an electric sunroof, an automatically deploying rear spoiler, and xenon headlights. The seller notes there are scratches in the finish and paint protection film has been applied over the front bumper, hood, fender lips, door handles, and fuel filler cover.
Factory 18″ Turbo Twist wheels wear 4S center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tires measuring 225/40 up front and 295/30 out back, with date codes from 2017. Braking is handled by red-finished calipers with white Porsche lettering fitted over cross-drilled rotors at each corner. Service performed in February 2018 included a four-wheel alignment along with a brake fluid flush.
The interior is upholstered in Graphite Grey full leather, which extends from the seats to the instrument binnacle and door panel inserts. Additional equipment includes a Bose stereo with a six-disc CD changer, Porsche crests embossed in the headrests, and carbon-fiber trim on the shift knob and handbrake lever. The seller notes wear on the center console.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The odometer shows just under 38k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in February 2018 at Carrera Motors of San Mateo, California, included installing an LN Engineering IMS bearing upgrade kit and replacing the rear main seal, clutch, oil separator, air filter, and spark plugs. The battery was replaced and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Manufacturer’s literature and two sets of keys are pictured above and included in the sale along with partial service records.
