This 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi is finished in Java Black Pearl over blue and black cloth upholstery and is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-four that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The car spent time in Washington State and Idaho before it was acquired by the seller and his father in 2020 and subsequently refurbished. Work included interior and exterior detailing, dry-ice cleaning the undercarriage, wheel wells, trunk well, and engine bay, as well as tinting the windows, fitting 18″ Konig Hexaform wheels, installing Fortune Auto coilovers, and updating the audio system with a Sony XAV-AX5000 head unit and a trunk-mounted Rockville Ghost subwoofer.
The car is finished in Java Black Pearl (18L) and features an STI-specific front valance, fog lamp covers, a functional hood scoop, mud flaps, a rear wing, and 35% tint on the rear and side windows. The hood was repainted under current ownership along with the hood scoop, front bumper, side skirts, and rear decklid, after which the car was ceramic coated and a protective film was applied to the headlights, roof, and rear wing.
Bronze-finished 18″ Konig Hexaform wheels wear 225/40 Toyo R888R tires, and the car’s factory 17″ BBS wheels with Continental tires are included in the sale. Stopping power is provided by Brembo brake calipers with grooved and ventilated rotors at all four corners, and the brake pads and rotors were replaced in preparation for sale. The car’s suspension is fitted with Fortune Auto coilovers with Swift springs.
The cabin is upholstered in blue and black cloth with black carpeting and silver-finished trim on the center stack and console. Equipment includes air conditioning, a Sony XAV-AX5000 touch-screen head unit with Bluetooth connectivity and Apple CarPlay, a trunk-mounted Rockville Ghost subwoofer, and a JDM shift knob.
A microsuede-wrapped steering wheel frames an instrument cluster that includes a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 66k miles.
The turbocharged 2.5-liter flat-four was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Recent service included an oil change and replacement of the cabin air filter.
Power is sent to the all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a driver-adjustable center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials.
