This 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster Limited was acquired by the seller in January 2013 and subsequently fitted with a supercharged Mercedes-Benz 5.4-liter M113 V8 by Accelerated Industries of Chicago, Illinois. Additional modifications include a five-speed Mercedes-Benz SL65 automatic transmission, WaveTrak limited-slip differential, custom exhaust system, Clarion Bluetooth stereo, Accelerated Industries Quick-Touch Top system, and front brakes and suspension components from an SRT-6. The car is finished in Blaze Red Crystal Pearl Coat over two-tone gray and tan leather, and standard equipment includes a black convertible top, cruise control, a retractable rear spoiler, heated and power-adjustable seats, and staggered-diameter wheels.
The body is finished in Blaze Red Crystal Pearl Coat with a straked hood, fender vents, roll hoops, a speed-dependent decklid spoiler, central dual-exhaust outlets, and a power-retractable black convertible top. SLK AMG-style side skirts were added during the seller’s ownership, along with an Accelerated Industries Quick-Touch Top system for the convertible top, chrome mesh grilles, and “5.5 AMG” badging.
Silver-finished 18″ front and 19″ rear alloy wheels wear Crossfire center caps, and are wrapped with Kumho Ecsta 4X front and Ecsta LE Sport rear tires which measure 225/40 and 285/35, respectively. Modifications installed by Accelerated Industries include Crossfire SRT-6-specification front springs, calipers, and rotors.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in two-tone Dark Slate Gray and Cool Vanilla leather, and satin silver trim accents the matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable seats, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and locks, and a Clarion stereo with Bluetooth connectivity.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 41k miles.
A supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 sourced from an R230 SL55 AMG was installed by Accelerated Industries in May 2015, and additional modifications include a smaller-diameter supercharger pulley and an upgraded fuel pump and injectors. A Crossfire emblem has been fitted in lieu of the Mercedes-Benz three-pointed star on the engine cover. The seller states that the oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Mercedes-Benz SL65 five-speed automatic transmission and a WaveTrak limited-slip differential fitted to the factory 3.27:1 rear differential. Transmission modifications consist of an upgraded valvebody and TCU software, and a custom tubular exhaust manifold without catalytic converters is joined with a Magnaflow muffler.
Manufacturer’s literature, five key fobs, the removed factory stereo, a car cover, and half-mile speed results will accompany the car.
