This special edition Thunderbird was initially delivered to Loman Ford of Woodbridge, New Jersey, before being registered in Florida, and it has remained with its original owner since new.
The car is finished in Cashmere Tri-Coat Metallic and features an egg-crate grille, power mirrors, integrated fog lights, anniversary badging, a body-color removable hardtop with porthole windows, and a Light Stone convertible soft top.
Machine finished 17″ wheels feature cashmere-accented hub rings and are wrapped in Michelin tires with 2004 date codes. Standard equipment included four-wheel independent suspension and anti-lock vented disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features seats upholstered in Cashmere leather with 50th Anniversary logos embossed in the backrests. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, an in-dash six-disc CD changer, and power-adjustable and heated seats.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is accented with Cashmere trim and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates approximately 800 miles.
The 3.9-liter V8 was rated at 280 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission, and an oil change was performed in June 2021 according to the seller.
Manufacturer’s literature, a window sticker, two key fobs, a hardtop cover and tool, a hardtop storage rack, and service records are included in the sale.
