Equipment includes the X51 Carrera Power Kit, Porsche Active Suspension Management, a power sunroof, 19″ Sport Design wheels, power-adjustable and heated front seats, an aftermarket Kenwood stereo with navigation and a back-up camera, and the Sport Chrono Plus and Carbon packages.
The Carrera 4S features wider rear bodywork compared to the standard Carrera, and this example is finished in Seal Grey Metallic (Y1). Features include bi-xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, a rear-window wiper, a speed-activated spoiler, a metal sunroof, a roof-mounted antenna, and quadruple exhaust tips. The sunroof frame and motor were replaced in June 2016 by Manhattan Motorcars of New York, the fuel tank cap was replaced in March 2019, and the selling dealer states that the front bumper was repainted to address stone chips.
Optional 19″ Sport Design wheels are wrapped in 235/35 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires up front and 305/30 Pirelli P Zero tires out back. Stopping power is provided by red-painted four-piston calipers mounted over cross-drilled discs, and all 997.1 Carrera 4S models were equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) from the factory. The brake fluid was flushed and a four-wheel alignment was performed in April 2018 by Manhattan Motorcars.
The cabin features seating upholstered in black leather with matching carpeting, and carbon-fiber trim aLents the dashboard, shift knob, and emergency brake lever. Features include a dashboard-mounted chronograph, cruise control, automatic climate control, and heated and power-adjustable front seats. The passenger airbag indicator light and missing carbon-fiber trim were replaced with factory components in June 2015, and a replacement sunroof cover was fitted in May 2017. The pollen filter was changed in April 2018, and aftermarket speakers along with a Kenwood stereo featuring navigation and a back-up camera were installed at Manhattan Motor Cars in March 2019.
The multi-function steering wheel is aLented by carbon-fiber trim and leather grips, and it frames a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges.
The 3.8-liter M97 flat-six is equipped with the Carrera Power Kit, which features a carbon-fiber intake housing and a sport exhaust system and raised factory-rated output to 381 horsepower when new. Service records show that the following components were replaced:
