This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT coupe is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it was modified when new by Shelby Automobiles with their GT package, which included Pro-Cal engine management software, a cold-air intake, an X-pipe exhaust with Ford Racing mufflers, suspension upgrades, revised exterior styling, silver racing stripes, and a Hurst short-throw shifter. Finished in black over charcoal leather, the car was initially delivered to Russ Dean Ford of Pasco, Washington, and was acquired by the seller in 2007.
The body is finished in black (UA) with silver racing stripes and features a hood scoop, a billet grille insert, revised fascias and side scoops, “Powered by Ford” fender badges, “Shelby” trunk lid lettering, and hood hold-down pins. The rear spoiler was deleted as part of the ‘GT Upfitters’ package.
Black-finished 18″ five-spoke aluminum wheels with pony center caps wear 235/50 BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires showing 2006 date codes. The Shelby GT package included lowering springs and upgraded dampers and front and rear sway bars.
The cabin features seats trimmed in Dark Charcoal leather with matching door panels and carpets. Satin aluminum trim accents the dashboard, and additional appointments include power adjustment for the driver’s seat, a Hurst short-throw shifter, a white shift knob, Shelby GT-branded aluminum doorsill plates, air conditioning, and a Shaker 500 CD stereo.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for or fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer shows 569 miles.
A commemorative plaque mounted on the dashboard identifies this example as number 1,578 produced.
The 4.6-liter V8 features a cold-air intake and Pro-Cal engine management software, and was rated at 319 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque in Shelby GT specification. A Ford Racing front strut tower brace is installed in the engine bay and a Shelby plaque is mounted to the radiator support.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gearing. The Shelby GT package included a high-flow exhaust system featuring an X-pipe and Ford Racing mufflers.
A window sticker showing a list of modifications performed by Shelby Automobiles is included in the sale.
The car is supplied with Ford and Shelby Automobiles literature along with two remote key fobs.
