This 2007 Porsche 911 Targa 4S is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over full Sand Beige supple leather and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and all-wheel drive. Equipment includes 19″ Carrera Classic wheels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and the Sport Chrono Plus and Bose High End Sound packages as well as automatic climate control and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. The car was first registered in Tennessee and spent time in Texas, New York, and New Jersey prior to its acquisition by the seller’s mother in October 2019. Maintenance during current ownership included replacement of the spark plugs, ignition coils, and serpentine belt.
The Targa 4S featured wider rear bodywork compared to that of the standard 997, and this example is finished in Basalt Black Metallic (Z4). Equipment includes xenon headlights with washers, a sliding glass roof panel, tinted windows, a speed-dependent rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets with polished finishers.
Carrera Classic 19″ wheels are fitted with Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded four-piston calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. According to the seller, wheel spacers measuring 5mm in the front and 10mm in the rear have been installed, and the steering wheel is not properly centered and the car requires an alignment.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Sand Beige supple leather, optional body-colored accents on the center console, and tan carpets protected by black Porsche-branded floor mats. The Sport Chrono Plus package adds a dashboard-mounted analog chronometer as well as performance-oriented engine and chassis management profiles activated with the Sport button in the center stack. Amenities include cruise control, a white chronograph, a Bose audio system with a remote CD changer, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.
The multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel frames white instrument dials including a central tachometer with a 7,400-rpm redline, a 200-mph speedometer, and secondary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 56k miles.
The 3.8-liter flat-six features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing and was rated from the factory at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Maintenance in preparation for the sale included replacement of the spark plugs, ignition coils, and serpentine belt.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. An Intermediate Service including a hydraulic fluid flush was performed at Paul Miller Porsche of Parsippany, New Jersey in November 2020.
Manufacturer’s literature and the factory tool kit are included in the sale.
