This 2008 Audi RS4 was delivered new to Royal Automotive Group of San Francisco, California and was acquired by the seller in 2011. Finished in Phantom Black Pearl over black leather, the car is powered by a 4.2-liter V8 that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. Features include the Titanium package, an aftermarket Tubi Style exhaust system, a Bose sound system, Audi Navigation Plus, automatic climate control, front and rear heated seats, and xenon headlights.
Approximately 2,000 B7 RS4s were produced for the US market, all of which featured flared fenders and aerodynamic front and rear bumper covers. This example is finished in Phantom Black Pearl and is equipped with the Titanium Package, which added a satin black grille surround and window trim as well as titanium-colored side-view mirrors. Gray Lamin-X tint film has been applied to the taillights, and additional features include an electric sunroof, fog lamps, and xenon headlights.
Split-spoke 19” wheels are wrapped in 255/35 Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires that show 2012 date codes. Braking is handled by RS-branded front calipers with cross-drilled rotors at all four corners, and the seller reports that aftermarket lug nuts and 8mm rear wheel spacers have been installed during current ownership.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable Recaro front seats and a rear bench trimmed in black leather with white piping. Piano black trim can be found throughout the interior, and amenities include a Bose stereo along with Audi Navigation Plus, automatic climate control, aluminum pedals, and a ShadowMark theft-deterrent system.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, an LCD screen, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows approximately 42k miles, around 16k of which have been added during current ownership. The Takata airbag recall was addressed by Royal Automotive Group in May 2019.
The 4.2-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 420 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
A Tubi Style exhaust system was installed during previous ownership, and the removed factory exhaust is included in the sale.
