This 2008 Lotus Elise SC is a 60th Anniversary special edition that is the third of five examples sold in the United States that were finished in British Racing Green and one of 39 in total. The car was first registered in Michigan and spent time in New Jersey, Illinois, and California before being acquired in April 2019 by the seller who relocated it back to Michigan. Power is supplied by a supercharged 1.8-liter inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, and features include the Touring and Sport packs, forged-aluminum wheels, adjustable dampers, and a T45 seatbelt anchor and harness bar.
The body is finished in British Racing Green (B04) with twin Saffron Yellow stripes (B106), and exterior features include a matching removable hard top, a rear spoiler and diffuser, and Team Lotus branding on each side. A black removable soft top and a protective case along with a fitted car cover are included in the sale.
Factory 16″ and 17″ forged-aluminum wheels are finished in yellow and are wrapped in Dunlop Direzza DZ102 tires that were fitted in June 2019. The suspension features adjustable dampers, which were part of the Exige Track Pack that was not typically available on an Elise. Stopping power is provided by a Lotus-branded braking system featuring cross-drilled rotors all around.
The fixed-back bucket seats are upholstered in black carbon-effect leather and feature yellow aLents as well as 60th Anniversary embroidery. Amenities include air conditioning, a T45 seatbelt anchor and harness bar, an Alpine stereo, and the Touring Pack, which consists of carpeting and additional sound insulation.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer. The odometer indicates just over 3k miles.
The mid-mounted supercharged 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 220 horsepower and 153 lb-ft, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. An oil and filter change was carried out in September 2020.
