This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S cabriolet is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over black leather and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six driving all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK transaxle and a limited-slip rear differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, dynamic cornering lights, a sports exhaust system, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, navigation, and Bose high-end audio. The car was delivered new to Porsche of North Olmsted in Ohio, and it was acquired by the seller in 2018.
The 4S featured wider bodywork than the standard Carrera, and beginning in 2009 all 997 4S models had a central reflector between the LED taillights. This example is finished in Basalt Black Metallic (Z4) and is equipped with a power-operated black soft top, bi-xenon headlamps with washers, dynamic cornering lights, a replacement windshield, tinted windows, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a Porsche sports exhaust system with quad outlets. The Carfax report indicates “minor damage” to the rear and driver-side of the car in May 2020, and the seller states that the driver’s door and the left-rear quarter panel were refinished.
Staggered-width 19″ alloy wheels were powder-coated Hyper Silver in 2019 and wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 up front and 305/30 out back. Equipment includes factory-installed 5mm wheel spacers and red Porsche-branded brake calipers clamping cross-drilled rotors all around.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black leather with matching door panels and carpets. Equipment includes illuminated stainless-steel door entry guards, power-adjustable front seats with heat and ventilation, automatic climate control, cruise control, navigation, Bluetooth phone connectivity, Bose high-end audio, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus with a dash-mounted stopwatch.
Toggle shifters are mounted to the leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, and instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 43k miles.
The 3.8-liter flat-six features direct fuel injection and produced 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed in June 2020 included an oil change and replacement of the battery, spark plugs, oil drain plug, and engine air filter.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle and a limited-slip rear differential.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Porsche of North Olmsted, Ohio, as well as colors, equipment, and a total price of $123,700 when new. Manufacturer’s literature, service records, a tool kit, and two keys are also included in the sale.
