This 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera S cabriolet is finished in Macadamia Metallic over a Cocoa full leather interior and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six paired with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle. Equipment includes a brown soft top, 19″ Turbo wheels, dynamic cornering headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Communication Management with navigation, a heated steering wheel, and Bose audio. The car was sold new in Washington and was acquired by the seller from Porsche Salt Lake City in 2012. The front brake pads and rotors were replaced and an oil change was carried out in October 2020, and a pre-purchase inspection was performed in anticipation of the sale.
The body is finished in Macadamia Metallic (9S), and revisions to the 997 for the 2009 model year included a revised front bumper cover and LED taillights. Additional equipment includes a power-operated soft top, bi-xenon headlights with cornering function, aftermarket rear fender guards, and a speed-activated rear spoiler.
Optional 19″ Turbo wheels are wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE-050A tires. Variable dampers were standard on the Carrera S, and braking is handled by red-painted calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. In October 2020, the front brake pads and rotors were replaced.
The cabin is upholstered in special-order Cocoa full leather with a matching dash, door panels, center console, and carpets. Amenities include the Sport Chrono Package, heated and ventilated 12-way power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, a wind deflector, Bose audio, Bluetooth, and navigation.
The heated steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer along with gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer has 28k miles.
The 3.8-liter 9A1 flat-six engine was introduced for 2009 and featured direct fuel injection and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing. Factory output was quoted at 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transaxle that can be shifted manually or driven in automatic mode.
Factory literature is included in the sale, along with two keys, a Porsche-branded car cover, and a selection of service records.
A copy of the options sheet lists factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $121,580.
