The car was repainted in Candy Red Metallic by SMS (Steve Mark Saleen) Supercars and features revised bodywork including a front fascia with integrated intakes, a blade front grill, a front splitter, a decklid spoiler, and a rear diffuser. Metal support plates are said to have been added to the bumpers under previous ownership, and the seller notes wear on the front lip. A rock chip that was filled is visible on the windshield, and the seller notes that the nose of the car is protected by a clear bra.
Chrome-finished 20″ alloy wheels are mounted with 275/35 front and 275/40 rear Nitto NT555 G2 tires that were installed under current ownership. The suspension has been modified with SMS components including the front struts, rear shocks, and sway bars that utilize durometer pivot bushings. The car features SMS-branded calipers over 14″ cross-drilled rotors up front.
The interior is trimmed in two-tone leather and Alcantara upholstery with SMS logos embroidered in the seatbacks. SMS 302-branded floor mats protect the carpets, and additional amenities include a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, navigation, a Shaker 500 stereo, replacement door speakers, and aluminum pedals. The dashboard wears a numbered SMS 302SC Mustang plaque and is signed by Steve Saleen.
The three-spoke multifunction steering wheel frames SMS-branded instrumentation that includes a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,750-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 24k miles.
The 5.0-liter V8 is equipped with a Ford Racing twin-screw supercharger, performance software, and underdrive pulleys.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed Tremec 3650 manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with a 3.55:1 final-drive ratio.
