The car was sold new at Bill Jacobs BMW-Mini in Naperville, Illinois in December 2011 and spent time in Texas and Louisiana before being acquired by the seller in July 2017. Service in October 2020 consisted of performing a maintenance inspection and oil change, flushing the brake fluid, and replacing the cabin air filter.
The car is finished in Alpine White (300) and features Shadowline trim, xenon headlights with washers, rear parking sensors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a power-operated sunroof. Carbon fiber hood vents, mirror caps, and side markers were installed under previous ownership, and the windshield was replaced in October 2020. Competition Package 19″ Style 359 wheels wear 245/35 Michelin Pilot Sport tires up front and 275/35 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires out back. The Competition Package also specified a lowered ride height and re-tuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and stability control programs. Braking is handled by blue-wrapped brake calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors, and the brake fluid was flushed in October 2020.
The cabin features seating upholstered in black Novillo leather with matching door panels, carpets, and carbon-look leather trim aLents throughout. The heated and power-adjustable front seats include ‘M’ embossing on the head rests as well as driver position memory settings. Amenities include automatic climate control, satellite radio, navigation, cruise control, and a rear sun shade. The cabin air filter was replaced in October 2020.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter S65 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the bank two throttle actuator was replaced under current ownership, and the oil was last changed approximately 200 miles ago.
