This 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is one of 767 Laguna Seca editions built for the model year and is finished in black with red accents over charcoal cloth and Alcantara. The car was reportedly purchased new by the seller’s father at Tropical Ford in Orlando, Florida, and it now shows just 856 miles.
Two color schemes were offered for the 2012 Laguna Seca edition, and this example is finished in black with red accents including a red grille, roof panel and side C-stripes. Additional features include a red pedestal rear spoiler and a Laguna Seca-specific rear badge with a track outline.
Staggered-width 19” double-spoke red-accented wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires that measure 255/40 up front and 285/35 out back. A manually adjustable suspension and upgraded anti-sway bars were standard on the Laguna Seca Edition package, in addition to Brembo front brake calipers and Ford Racing brake ducts.
The cabin features manually-adjustable Recaro seats trimmed with charcoal cloth upholstery and Alcantara inserts, along with matching door panels and carpeting. Boss 302-logo stitching adorns the seats and floor mats, while turned metal-look fascia accents the dashboard. All Laguna Seca’s for 2012 included a red X-brace in lieu of rear seats, and this vehicle also features metal pedals, air conditioning, a CD stereo, and adjustable electric power steering.
The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel sits in front of a 180-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer, and a trio of auxiliary gauges is mounted on top of the dash. The digital odometer shows 856 miles.
The naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter DOHC Road Runner V8 was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential.
