This 2012 Jeep Wrangler is a black-over-black Rubicon Unlimited example that was purchased new by the seller at Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep of Houston, Texas, and it was subsequently modified. A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed along with a GM-sourced 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission, and additional modifications include a FrontRunner roof rack, 17″ Pro Comp Xtreme wheels, LED lighting, a ‘stubby’ front bumper with a SmittyBilt winch, an AEV lift kit, rear bumper, and snorkel, and more as detailed below. Additional factory equipment includes navigation, cruise control, air conditioning, Dana 44 axles, and heated front seats.
The body is finished in black with a matching hardtop. The Carfax report shows damage occurring to the rear of the truck in January 2013, which the seller states was the result of another vehicle hitting the trailer hitch. Noted imperfections include corrosion on the roof rack bolts as well as scrapes and corrosion on the left corner of the rear bumper. Exterior modifications include the following:

The interior features heated front seats upholstered in black leather with debossed Jeep logos in the backrests, and amenities include UConnect infotainment with navigation, Bluetooth, voice command, a back-up camera, and satellite radio functionalities. Interior modifications consist of a ceiling-mounted switch pod, sun visor covers with additional storage, and an aftermarket sliding trunk tray and lower cargo shelf.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 126k miles.
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2018 utilizing an installation kit sourced from RPM Extreme, and it is equipped with a Vibrant Performance air-intake system and an aluminum radiator. The oil was most recently changed in November 2020.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a GM-sourced six-speed 6L80E transmission with a dual-range transfer case, and a Hi-Tek transmission cooler is fitted along with G2 differential covers on the front and rear Dana 44 axles. The front driveshaft was replaced in September 2018, and the transfer case connector was replaced in August 2020.
