The supercharged and intercooled 6.2-liter LS9 V8 is equipped with a dry-sump lubrication system and was factory rated at 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential with a 3.42:1 axle ratio. A dual-mode performance exhaust is fitted.
