This 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is #47 of 765 Laguna Seca editions built for the model year and is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was sold new in Sioux City, Iowa, and registered in California where it remained with its original owner until the current owner’s acquisition in February 2021. It is finished in black with gray graphics over black cloth upholstery and features Brembo disc brakes and adjustable shocks and struts, as well as model-specific springs, stabilizer bars, a strut-tower brace, chassis X-brace, quad exhaust outlets, and an intake manifold with a production number plate. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
The car is finished in black with low-gloss Sterling Gray hood and “hockey stick” side stripes, mirror caps, and pedestal rear spoiler. Other features include front brake cooling ducts, an air splitter, and a rear badge with an outline of the Laguna Seca race track.
Machined alloy wheels measuring 19×9″ front and 19×10″ rear are painted Sterling Gray Metallic and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Brembo front disc brakes feature 14″ vented rotors with four-piston calipers. Suspension is handled by adjustable shocks and struts with five settings as well as model-specific springs. Sway bars came standard, and included a larger 25mm component at the rear.
The cabin features Recaro Sport bucket seats with charcoal cloth upholstery and Dove Gray “Boss 302” embroidery, along with a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, selectable-effort electric power steering, dark aluminum instrument-panel and glovebox appliqués, Bluetooth Sync, and “Boss 302” carpeted floor mats.
Laguna Seca models came from the factory with a chassis brace in place of the rear seat and reduced sound deadening material.
A three-spoke Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 4k miles.
The 5.0-liter DOHC Road Runner V8 was factory rated at 444 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. A strut-tower brace came standard, and a plaque affixed to the intake manifold is etched with the car’s VIN and Laguna Seca edition serial number. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip helical differential with a 3.73:1 final gear ratio. Exhaust gases exit through two side and two rear outlets.
