The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 developed 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft of torque in Redeye specification when new. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission equipped with a factory-upgraded torque converter and a rear axle equipped with 3.09:1 gearing.
