Description
This 1922 Marmon Model 34B is a seven-passenger touring car that was first sold by Horace W. Naylor of San Diego, California, and is said to have remained in the state until 2006. It was subsequently purchased by the editor of the Marmon Club’s newsletter and moved to Tennessee, where it was awarded an AACA Junior First Prize in June 2009. It later participated in several Glidden and AACA Tours. It was listed on BaT in May 2022 and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. The car is finished in cream with black fenders over black upholstery, and power comes from a 340ci OHV inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Features include a black folding top, rear jump seats, and a folding rear windscreen. This Marmon is now offered in Michigan at no reserve with AACA documentation and a clean Montana title. The four-door touring bodywork features aluminum panels and is finished in cream with black fenders. Features include a brake light, a folding windscreen for rear-seat passengers, full running boards, external armrests, a black radiator surround and headlamp housings, and a Marmon-branded thermometer radiator cap. Areas of touch-up paint are noted on the doors and hood, and the right headlight bulb requires replacement. Other paint chips are present.
