1923 Ford Model T T Bucket

Vehicle Description 1923 Ford Model T $32,000 "1923 Ford Model T T Bucket Not many car people will fail to recognize the T Bucket's famous shape: open engine, open cockpit, upright windshield, and a stubby deck out back – all of which have been part of the formula since day one. The original Model T's of course, were produced from 1909 to 1927 and served as the platform for old school, early day hot rodding. Typically, they have a raked appearance that looks like excessive speed has pushed back every component on the frame along with staggered tires, lots of chrome, and an open bucket that is a feast for the eyes. For consignment, a 1923 Ford T Bucket with a title verified 7,235 miles since built. This open air E-ticket ride is one for show and go and the second most enjoyable way to get your hair messed up! Exterior If you want to turn some heads, pull up to the car show in a T bucket. If you want to attract a crowd, paint it Black Cherry and include some pinstriping and a pin-up girl. The insanely cool profile is amplified by the heavily staggered 15-inch Weld DragLite wheels and 31x16.5 inch tires in back. A tan canvas top connected to the upright windscreen and jutting dramatically upward to create headspace. The next thing you'll need to draw people like moths to a flame is chrome and polished parts, and it's here in spades with the exposed engine, headers, and radiator shell. The padded decklid is made of stitched tan vinyl to match the interior, as we'll learn and the bumperless tailgate wears teardrop tail lights enhanced with pinstriping which also appears on all panels and doors. Imperfections include a few small tears in the top, and a few scratches. Interior The mottled tan vinyl returns to cover the inner walls and padded bench seat that wraps around the back wall and all is in nice shape. From there, a Grant GT black steering wheel presents to the driver ahead of the body colored dash lined with an array of Classic Instruments gauges. Brown carpet surrounds an aluminum shifter on the floor while the soft top retains a woodgrain headliner above. Drivetrain Posted up front is a 350ci V8 with FlowTek heads, new dual 4-barrel Holley carburetors over an Offenhauser tunnel ram intake. It's mated to a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the Ford 8"" in back. Headers are the only exhaust method needed and the engine is replete with polished parts that create quite a spectacle. Undercarriage Overall, a clean presentation underneath with some residual oil noted but otherwise dry and rust free. Polished parts are visible from down here as well! Disc brakes are up front and drums in back. Suspension consists of a transverse leaf spring up front and four bar with coil overs in back. Drive-Ability The combustion happening in each of the eight cylinders is clearly expressed through the headers, without filter and renders a visceral experience that continues on the test loop where the bucket exhibits very good power and straight tracking. Their simple design and wide tires make for great handling too and all functions on this Model T operate as intended. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase. Think of it as a go-kart on steroids. Think of it as an adult toy. Think of it as a work of art. Now think of it sitting in your garage!
