1924 Nash Pickup

1924 Nash Custom Pickup Truck Restomod Modern Drivetrain 4 Cylinder Automatic This unique and beautifully crafted 1924 Nash Standard 6 Series 420 is a remarkable fusion of early American motoring charm and modern mechanical reliability. Originally born as a Tudor sedan, this vehicle has undergone a thoughtful and professionally executed transformation into a custom pickup truck, preserving its classic aesthetics while integrating smart upgrades for everyday drivability. With its all-steel body, classic proportions, and standout craftsmanship, this Nash stands as a rolling tribute to creative ingenuity and timeless design. Under the hood, the heart of this custom build lies in a Ford OHC inline-four engine, paired with an automatic transmission—a clever combination that brings this vintage machine into the realm of modern usability. The addition of a 12-volt charging system ensures that the vehicle remains electrically dependable, supporting modern lighting, ignition, and battery performance. While the stock brakes and suspension retain the truck's authentic ride and feel, the modern engine provides welcome added power and reliability, making this a truly drivable classic. Unlike many pre-war cars that are better suited to static display or parade speeds, this custom Nash cruises comfortably at 55 to 60 mph, giving it real-world road manners rarely found in vehicles of this era. Whether you're headed to a local car show or taking a leisurely backroad drive, this custom pickup offers a blend of performance and personality that's hard to match. Visually, the truck is a standout. The wood wheels and period-correct details give it a dignified and vintage presence, while the custom “Nash”-stamped tailgate adds a tasteful, one-of-a-kind touch that honors the brand's heritage. The paint is beautifully applied, providing a rich, glossy finish that complements the vehicle's lines and craftsmanship. There is one minor imperfection on the driver's front fender, but it does little to detract from the overall show-worthy appearance of the vehicle. This is a truck that commands attention for all the right reasons, and it wears its craftsmanship proudly. With a clean New Jersey title, this 1924 Nash is ready to be registered, driven, and enjoyed without complication. It's an incredibly rare opportunity to own a pre-war classic that doesn't require trailering or constant tinkering—just turn the key and enjoy the open road. Whether you're a collector looking for a head-turning, custom-built vintage vehicle, or simply a lover of early American automotive history with an eye for practical usability, this 1924 Nash pickup delivers in every way. It combines the elegant styling of the 1920s with thoughtful modern enhancements, offering the best of both eras in one exceptionally built and beautifully presented package.
