1929 Chevrolet Coupe Rat Rod

Vehicle Description 1929 Chevrolet Coupe $14,995 The 1929 Chevrolet Rat Rod Coupe captures the rebellious spirit of a World War II fighter jet with its jaw-dropping patina finish and hand-painted nose art, complete with a shark's mouth, bombs, and a female medic emblem. This machine isn't just a head-turner; it's a rolling tribute to vintage military style, from the ammo canister glove box to the custom metal gas tank perched atop the rear. Every inch screams character and attitude, making this Rat Rod an undeniable icon for anyone looking to own a true piece of automotive art. Step inside and experience a cabin that's raw and unapologetically custom. The vinyl duck blind seats, paired with a diamond plate and wood center console, deliver a gritty yet functional vibe. Equus gauges for temperature, voltage, and oil pressure keep you connected to the mechanical heartbeat, while the grenade shifter on the column adds a bold touch. This is a cockpit made for those who appreciate style over convention. Under the hood, a 235 cubic inch inline six fires through dual two-barrel carbs, producing a unique rumble that echoes the car's fighter jet inspiration. Heat-wrapped headers exit on the side, amplifying the growl as you roll. The TH350 three-speed automatic transmission channels power to the Ford 8-inch rear axle, supported by a custom lowered frame with dual coil-over shocks out back. Though steering and brakes show their vintage roots, the electric fan on the aluminum radiator keeps things cool, and the bomb-styled overflow tank completes the warbird aesthetic.
