Description
This 1929 Chrysler Series 75 roadster was refurbished under previous long-term ownership in the early 1980s while remaining with the same North Carolina family for 44 years. It earned an Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) Senior National First Prize in 1988 before it was purchased by the seller in 2024. The car is finished in tan with brown bodyside accents and fenders over brown upholstery, and power comes from a 248.9ci inline-six mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, 18″ orange-painted wire wheels, dual side-mount spares, cowl lamps, glass wind wings, a tan soft top, a rumble seat, a passenger-side locking golf bag door, and a fold-down luggage rack with a trunk. This Chrysler Series 75 is now offered with an owner’s manual and a Virginia title in the seller’s name. The Series 75 was introduced in June 1928, and examples finished 6th and 7th at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929. Approximately 48,850 were produced across 12 body styles for the model year. This roadster example is finished in tan with brown bodyside accents and fenders, and it features a radiator mascot, Chrysler-branded headlight buckets, cowl lamps, glass wind wings, a tan soft top, running boards, a passenger-side locking golf bag door, a single taillight, and a fold-down luggage rack with a trunk. A number of the provided photos were taken in February 2025.
