Description
This 1930 Ford Model A roadster was purchased by the seller in 2016 as a disassembled project, and the subsequent build was completed in 2018. Power is provided by a 255ci Mercury flathead V8 that is topped with an Offenhauser intake manifold and dual Stromberg 97 carburetors and linked to a 1950 Mercury three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car rides on an Okie Joe front drop axle, Pete & Jakes front shock absorbers, and ’39 Ford front spindles along with front and rear transverse leaf springs. Later hydraulic drum brakes have also been added along with red-painted wide-five wheels and a ’39 Ford steering box. The body is finished in gray and black and features a black folding soft top as well as removable side curtains. Inside, a modified 1940 Ford seat is trimmed in red and accompanied by a 1939 Ford dash panel with New Vintage USA gauges. This Model A Roadster hot rod is now offered with a Wisconsin title in the seller’s name. The body is finished in gray with black fenders and running boards, and it features a black folding soft top as well as removable side curtains. The seller notes a 1939 Ford cowl vent is installed, and additional details include wind wings, chrome trim, and turn signals integrated in the headlights.
