This 1932 Ford Model 18 roadster with rumble seat and celebrated 221 Flathead V8 captures that moment with period attitude and usable charm, inviting both weekend cruise nights and quiet, proud showings. From its tidy canvas top to the era-correct dual spare wheels tucked in the fenders and a fold-up luggage rack with attached trunk, this roadster evokes the romance of open motoring. If you have been looking for a 1932 car that combines authentic detail with easy drivability, this is certainly worthy of consideration. The interior is welcoming and well sorted for a driver-friendly experience. The consignor fitted Procar bucket seats up front for added comfort; the original bench seat is included with the car. The rumble seat shows little use and presents nicely. Glass and trim are in good order and the cabin has a tasteful period feel with minimal imperfections, making it comfortable for touring or display. Under the hood sits the landmark 221 Flathead V8 that defined the 1932 Model 18 era. The engine starts right up, idles smoothly and the three-speed manual gearbox shifts predictably, making this roadster straightforward to drive on modern roads. The suspension uses factory-style mono leaf springs front and rear and the car rides on 18-inch wire wheels wrapped in 5.50-18 Firestone wide whitewalls. Braking is via drum brakes and the underside presents as restored to factory standards, all contributing to a confident, vintage driving experience.
