Vehicle Description 1933 Buick Model 57 $19,900 ***Vehicle Located in TX*** Zoom Classic Cars presents 1933 Buick Series 50 Model 57 Sedan – One Family Owned Since New – Pyrenees Blue – Fully Documented Pre-War Classic. A great opportunity to acquire a truly authentic pre-war American luxury automobile, this 1933 Buick Series 50 Model 57 Sedan represents one of Buick’s finest engineering achievements of the early Classic Era. Finished in elegant Pyrenees Blue with a correctly upholstered mohair interior, this remarkable all-steel sedan has remained in the same family since new and retains a level of originality, provenance, and period correctness. This handsome Buick underwent a comprehensive frame-off restoration in the early 1990s, preserving its originality while returning the car to its proper factory presentation. Today, the paint remains in overall very nice condition with only a few minor imperfections as shown and consistent with careful long-term ownership and proper storage. The interior is clean and presents in very good condition, featuring beautiful mohair upholstery, woodgrain dash and window trim, rear privacy shades, and the warm craftsmanship expected of a premium Buick from this era. Power comes from Buick’s legendary 230 cubic inch inline Straight 8-cylinder engine, a smooth and highly respected powerplant that helped establish Buick as one of General Motors’ premier luxury brands during the Depression era. Backed by a desirable 3-speed manual transmission mounted on the floor, the car delivers a refined mechanical experience that only a true pre-war automobile can offer.Factory and period-correct features include rear-mounted spare tire, dual spotlights and horns, turn signals, correctly restored Jaeger in-dash clock, and stunning 17-inch painted wooden wheels with chrome-painted Buick center caps wrapped in wide whitewall Firestone tires. The long flowing fenders, upright grille, sweeping hood lines, and formal sedan proportions create the unmistakable elegance of classic pre-war Buick design. The 1933 Buick Series 50 was positioned as one of Buick’s premium offerings and was produced in limited numbers during one of the most challenging economic periods in American history, making surviving examples increasingly scarce today—especially those with documented single-family ownership and correct restorations. Buick’s engineering excellence, particularly the smooth-running overhead valve Straight Eight, gave these cars a reputation for durability and prestige that still resonates with collectors today. The Buick has been driven sparingly in recent years and starts, runs, and operates as expected for a well-preserved pre-war automobile. As with any classic vehicle that has seen limited seasonal use, we recommend the next caretaker perform routine servicing including a standard tune-up, fluid inspection, carburetor adjustment for optimal calibration, brake system inspection, and general mechanical checks to ensure drivability, safety, and road readiness. These are normal maintenance considerations for a collector vehicle of this vintage and are simply part of proper stewardship rather than an indication of mechanical concern. Included with the sale is an impressive history file containing owner’s manuals, paint and interior color code charts, restoration pictures/documentation and additional supporting records that further enhance the car’s collectability and provenance.Currently stored in Massachusetts and offered with a clean Pennsylvania title in the owner’s name, this is a wonderful opportunity to own a well preserved and properly restored 1933 Buick Sedan with outstanding history, nice presentation, and timeless Full Classic appeal.
