Description
1935 Plymouth PJ Deluxe Tudor – Flathead 6 – Stock Survivor – Clean TitleThis 1935 Plymouth PJ Deluxe Tudor is a largely original, well-preserved survivor that still carries the character and charm of a prewar Plymouth. It runs its factory 201ci flathead six paired with the original 3-speed manual transmission, delivering the smooth, dependable driving experience these cars are known for.The drivetrain remains stock aside from a period-correct upgrade: the exhaust manifold has been professionally split, allowing true dual exhaust. The car retains a traditional appearance, with only period-style wheels and chrome dual tips differing from factory. It has a great vintage sound without sacrificing authenticity.Inside, the original mohair upholstery presents beautifully, with all factory fabric and the carpeted rear seat area intact. The front floor uses a recently installed rubber mat. The only noted interior wear is the deterioration of the original rubber mat that was previously in place.Mechanically, the car is reliable and straightforward. It retains its 6-volt system with a newer Napa battery relocated to the firewall. Charging and electrical function as expected for a generator-equipped vehicle. All gauges operate, though the fuel gauge responds slowly. The car carries a clean title and has been well cared for.Specific DisclosuresIncludes an original Chrysler Plymouth Parts ManualModern dual-master cylinder installedE-brake handle is missing; seller has the correct part numberNapa 6-volt battery relocated to firewall; charging system functions normallyAll gauges work; fuel gauge is slow to reactOriginal color is Battleship Gray; timing of repaint unknown but matches correctlySeller acquired the car from Minneapolis, MinnesotaRear window privacy blind works; small eye hooks to secure it are missingAll interior fabric is original; rear carpet original; front floor uses a new rubber matWiper motor operates; wiper arm and blade are missingWeatherstripping, window channels, windshield rubber, running board rubber, and many mechanical parts are readily available through Andy Bernbaum Classic MoPar Parts in Boston Make and ModelTypeClassic CarsYear1935MakePlymouthModelPJ DeluxeSeriesTudorMileage and TypeMileage0TitleClearVIN00000CBL080900000Stock #CBL0809Exterior / InteriorBody StyleTudor SedanDoors2Exterior ColorInterior ColorInterior MaterialMechanicsEngine201ci Flathead 6Cylinders6DrivetrainTransmission3 Speed ManualFuel TypeFuel EconomyCity / Highway
