Description
This 1939 Mercury Eight custom convertible is powered by a 95hp Mercury flathead V8 engine mated to a Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The V8 is modified with a 3/4-race cam, three Carter 2-barrel carburetors, Edelbrock cylinder heads, MSD ignition and an alternator, along with a split steel tubular exhaust system. Fuel is supplied by a reconditioned fuel tank with an electric fuel pump and filters. The Mercury features a Mustang II adjustable front suspension, power steering, Wilwood hydraulic front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. Fully restored as a modern-day driver, it is equipped with power windows and a backup camera. The cabin features a custom-designed interior. Approximately 230 miles since the build.
