1940 Ford Deluxe 2-Door Sedan

This beautifully customized 1940 Ford Deluxe 2-door sedan is a head-turning hot rod that masterfully blends classic post-war styling with modern performance upgrades. Currently showing 53,569 miles and holding a clean title, this vehicle is in overall excellent condition inside, out, and underneath. Exterior & Styling: The car features a striking custom green paint job accented by artistic flames that run along the front end, giving it an authentic vintage hot rod aesthetic. While the exterior presents exceptionally well and boasts a highly clean undercarriage, there are some minor paint imperfections as detailed in the vehicle photos. Clever custom touches include an electric air vent located under the front windshield—operated by an interior control switch—and a hidden cord system to open the gas door, keeping the body lines sleek and uninterrupted. Drivetrain & Performance: Under the hood sits a custom 350 Chevy V8 engine equipped with a triple 2-barrel carburetor setup. Adding incredible historical value, the engine block is signed by world-famous NHRA drag racing legend "Big Daddy" Don Garlits. The powerplant is paired with a reliable 350 Chevy Turbo 3-speed automatic transmission, sending power to a rugged 9-inch Ford rear end with highway-friendly 2.73 gears. An upgraded aluminum radiator ensures optimal cooling, allowing this hot rod to start reliably on the first turn of the key while running and sounding amazing. Interior & Modern Upgrades: The cabin is finished in a tasteful green and tan color scheme that complements the exterior. The interior has been thoughtfully updated for modern drivability and comfort, featuring a brand-new gauge cluster, a new radio, and a neatly integrated backup camera. Mechanical Updates: The car rides on new tires and has been mechanically refreshed with new brakes and new rear slider springs, ensuring a smooth, safe, and confident ride. This vehicle is located in Upper Black Eddy, Pennsylvania. Mike: 973-768-6426
