This 1940 Ford Deluxe Woody Wagon is powered by a professionally rebuilt early 1960s 283ci V-8 engine mated to a three-on-the-tree manual transmission. The engine was bored .040 and is equipped with a new alternator and battery. Glasspack mufflers are installed. The car retains its original frame and suspension. An older frame-up restoration, this California car retains all its original sheet metal and features beautiful maple woodwork. The vinyl top and all glass have been replaced, it had a new front disc brake conversion and new whitewall tires are installed. The paint has minor paint chips. It has been garage-kept and covered and has remained in the same family for 43 years.
