This custom 1940 Ford pickup is powered by an upgraded 428 Cobra Jet V-8 engine paired with a modified C6 3-speed automatic transmission with line lock and a Ford 9-inch rear end with Positraction. Engine modifications include cylinder-head work, an upgraded camshaft, intake manifold, dual-quad carburetors and headers. The truck underwent a complete frame-off restoration in the 1980s. Since its restoration, it has primarily been used for local car shows and limited driving.
