1940 Ford Tudor

DescriptionAll steel and professionally restored with a cost exceeding $100.000, this 1940 Ford Tudor checks all the boxes -- a high-quality, award-winning build with plenty of performance and head-turning style. Done 10 years ago but with minimal mileage since and always properly maintained, this is a turn-key car that's ready to thrill its next owner. The arrow straight body looks fantastic in its beautiful Dark Red finish that looks as if you could dip your hand in it. The various chrome and stainless-steel trim is likewise brilliant. A set of color-matched steelies wearing chrome caps/trim rings and wide-whitewall tires add an emphatic punctuation mark to this amazing build. The underside is impressively clean as well. Under the hood is a potent 383 crate motor that features a Holley carb, an Edelbrock intake, a performance cam and a set of headers that send the exhaust through a dual exhaust system with bright tips. That muscular mill sends the power to the rear wheels via a TH400 automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end. Other chassis highlights include a Mustang II rack-and-pinion power steering setup and rear coil overs. Built for comfortable cruising, this hot rod features plush cloth upholstery with a front bench seat sporting aggressive side bolsters and a fold-down center armrest. The rear seat is similarly contoured for ideal support. Other highlights include a tilt steering wheel, air conditioning and a modern sound system. Out on the road this classic Ford runs and drives great. Step into it and it leaps forward with a growling soundtrack. Kick back and cruise and its easy-going demeanor makes it ideal for weekend road trips. For more information or to schedule time to see this fantastic Ford, just give us a call at 603-627-5595.
