1941 Buick 90 Limited Limousine

Vehicle Description 1941 Buick 90 Limited $34,995 "It's long. It's luxurious. And just a quick glance at this 1941 Buick 90 Limited Limousine conjures up images of affluence. This is one of those select vehicles that has the magnetism to capture the attention not only of enthusiasts but casual passersby and, when you consider that the Carlsbad Black paint this classic wears is almost certainly original, you'd have to say it has weathered the passing years pretty well. Sure, you'll see evidence of aging upon closer examination, but the overall sturdiness of this lengthy cruiser is beyond question. If you trace an imaginary line along the running board between the front and rear wheels, you'll see no sagging to be concerned about and its chrome trim and the bumpers both fore and aft, are still securely in place. Plus, how often do you see limousines dating back more than 80 years on the road? Or anywhere else, for that matter. When you climb inside, you can't help but think about the multitude of big occasions this Buick 90 has seen, and this hallowed interior is still in clean shape. The seating throughout the cabin was revitalized not long ago, so it's nice and fresh and has a great feel to it. One of the defining characteristics of this particular Buick 90 is its center divider with its glass window, created to provide a sense of privacy between driver and passengers. This specimen is one of only 669 produced with this coveted feature, and while the divider will need a bit of attention to return to full functionality, the rarity it confers is beyond question. Farther forward, the dashboard presents well, with an assembly of original gauges that are still working as intended. As you raise the substantial hood on this vintage Buick, you'll notice right away that the engine compartment has been well-maintained and remains in its factory configuration, with an expansive straight eight-cylinder engine at its center that's surrounded by belts, hoses and other soft parts that are still in fine shape. The powerplant is equipped dual two-barrel carburetors and pairs with a 3-speed manual, column-mounted transmission. Better still, this one-of-a-kind ride is still fully capable of answering the call of service, tracking surprisingly straight for any vehicle of its era and stopping without issue via its quartet of drum brakes.
