Description
This 1941 Chevrolet pickup was modified under prior ownership with work that involved repainting the body in black with red pinstriping and lettering as well as installing a 350ci V8, a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, and a 10-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential. The chassis was modified with a Mustang II-style independent front suspension assembly, power rack-and-pinion steering, rear adjustable traction bars, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Inside, a pair of power-adjustable bucket seats are trimmed in gray leather and accompanied by a custom headliner and door panels, a Lokar shifter, under-dash air conditioning, Stewart-Warner gauges, power windows, and a Sony stereo mounted in a custom overhead console. Exterior details include a tilt-out windshield, an adjustable windshield visor, LED lights, chrome side steps, and a stained wood bed floor with an upholstered trunk housing the battery. The truck is also equipped with a Brawler carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan, and a dual exhaust system with Sanderson headers, electronic exhaust cutouts, and Borla resonators and mufflers. This modified AK-Series pickup was purchased by the owner in 2023 and is now offered by the seller, a BaT Local Partner , on behalf of the owner with a New Jersey title. The body was stripped and refinished in black in 2001, according to the seller, and features red pinstriping, custom graphics on the doors, and red tailgate lettering. Details include a tilt-out windshield, an adjustable sun visor, aftermarket headlights, and LED taillights as well as running boards with chrome step plates.
