Description
This 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Town Sedan was refurbished around 2005 and is powered by a crate 350ci V8 paired with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The build includes a Fat Man Fabrications Stage 2 Mustang II-style front suspension, power steering, and front discs, and the engine is fitted with a Holley 670-cfm carburetor, aluminum performance intake, HEI ignition, chrome valve covers and air cleaner, and a custom dual exhaust system. The car also features 15″ steel wheels with baby moons, a Vintage Air air-conditioning system, digital gauges, a Pioneer stereo, a polished steering column, and banjo-style steering wheel. The current owner purchased the car in 2015, and in preparation for the sale the water pump, spark plugs, and one of the tubular front control arms were replaced. This Chevrolet Special Deluxe is now offered on consignment by McQueen Classics, a BaT Local Partner , with an owner’s manual, service records, and a Maryland title. The bodywork is finished in black and features dual side mirrors. The car was repainted at some point, although documentation for the work is not available. Refurbishment included installation of new window glass, seals, weatherstripping, door and window hardware, and electric windshield wipers.
