Description
This 1941 Plymouth PT-125 pickup was purchased by the seller’s grandfather out of Kansas in 2008 and underwent a build that included fitting the body over a 1987 Dodge Dakota chassis as well as installing a 5.2-liter Magnum V8 and an A518 four-speed automatic transmission sourced from a 1992 Dodge truck. The truck wears weathered blue paint and features power steering and front disc brakes as well as an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, door poppers, cowl lamps, a carpeted cargo bed, and a receiver hitch. Inside, the cab features bucket seats trimmed in brown and tan upholstery, and amenities include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, a Lokar shifter, and a Kenwood stereo and speakers mounted in the headliner. A color-coordinated 1981 Stidham horse trailer is also included in the sale, and it has been modified with a chopped roof, indoor and exterior lighting, and a side access door. Service performed on the truck in 2026 reportedly included the installation of a replacement carburetor, fuel filler neck, and battery cable. This modified PT-125 and Stidham horse trailer are now offered by the seller on behalf of their grandfather in Missouri with a Texas title for the powertrain-donor 1992 Dodge truck and Missouri titles for the 1987 donor Dodge Dakota, and truck and trailer titles in the owner’s name. The truck wears faded blue paint and features a front bumper, halogen headlights, an electric windshield wiper, cowl lamps, Bear Claw electric door poppers, running boards, a rear receiver hitch, and a Plymouth-branded tailgate and taillights. The carpeted cargo bed features a metal cooler housing the battery.
