1942 Ford GPW 1/4 Ton

A genuine, numbers matching 1942 Ford GPW from the collection of a NAVY veteran in upstate New York. Project was started in April 2002 and finished 2003. It included a full frame off restoration to the highest possible standard by a professional with over 30 years of experience in restoring WWII era military vehicles.

The vehicle includes all of the correct, plates, paperwork and period correct WWII accessories to include, jerry can, shovel and axe, military blackout head and taillights, folding windshield, period correct rod actuated mechanical brakes, tow hooks, period‑correct decals, spare tire, slat grill, canvas top, and more.

Meticulously kept records and receipts. Has all paperwork, provenance from feature in the 2018 International Auto Show, Saratoga Automobile Museum vol. 8.2 exhibit, and also documentation from the entire restoration process.

Everything works, mechanical and electrical. The vehicle is meticulously maintained. Has been housed inside a modern climate controlled environment. Rust free, both body and frame are beautiful and have not been undercoated.
