1944 Willys MB

1944 Willys Jeep Model MB 4x4 WWII Military Vehicle Titled This 1944 Willys MB Military Jeep is a genuine piece of American history—an original World War II-issued 4x4 utility vehicle that represents one of the most iconic machines ever to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces. With a documented Serial Number 331168, Chassis Number MB266885, and a Date of Delivery of May 10, 1944, this Willys MB was built in the heat of the Second World War and embodies the rugged reliability and utilitarian design that helped shape the outcome of the conflict. Still outfitted with its all-steel body, this Jeep remains faithful to its original form, showing off its battle-born lines in proper drab green military paint. Its appearance is completed with tan canvas upholstery, a matching canvas windshield cover, and a full canvas top enclosure, making it suitable for both display and open-air driving. The folding windshield, 16-inch steel wheels, and original-style jerrycan mounted to the rear bring unmistakable authenticity to the vehicle. Power comes from a correct-style 134ci inline-four engine, though it is a non-original motor, mated to a three-speed manual gearbox and a dual-range transfer case, ensuring capable off-road performance through all four wheels. Manually-locking front hubs provide extra traction when needed, and the mechanical simplicity makes this Willys easy to maintain and enjoyable to drive—whether on pavement, in parades, or over rugged terrain. Though born for battle, this Willys MB is now at home as a prized piece of history. Its condition reflects careful preservation rather than full restoration, allowing the authentic character of its service heritage to shine through. The steel body, strong mechanicals, and practical design are all reminders of what made the MB the backbone of American mobility during WWII. It's a vehicle that helped liberate Europe, patrol the Pacific, and shape the legacy of off-road vehicles for decades to come. This Jeep is being sold with a clean title, making it a ready candidate for historic registration, reenactment use, military vehicle collections, or weekend adventure drives. Whether you're a collector, veteran, history buff, or simply someone who values the legacy of freedom and ingenuity, this 1944 Willys MB offers a rare opportunity to own and experience a true icon of the 20th century. With authentic details, historical documentation, and timeless military styling, this Willys Jeep is more than a classic—it's a tribute to the Greatest Generation and the machine that helped move it forward.
