1946 Chevrolet 3100

Resto Mod 46 Chevy 3100 Pickup 350 V8 - Overdrive Automatic - AC - PS & PB This 1946 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup Truck combines classic post-war styling with modern upgrades for reliability and comfort. Finished in a beautiful red exterior with contrasting black metallic fenders, this all-steel body pickup retains its iconic curves and vintage appeal while featuring numerous tasteful improvements that make it a true driver-friendly resto-mod. Under the hood sits a dependable GM 350 Goodwrench V8 engine paired with a 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission—an ideal combination for smooth highway cruising and easy operation. The truck has been upgraded with power steering and power front disc brakes, offering confidence and control that far surpass the original driving experience. A dual exhaust system with headers delivers a deep, throaty rumble, while the classic clam shell hood design provides easy access to the engine bay. Inside, the cabin features a red and black two-tone bench seat interior that complements the exterior perfectly. A Classic Air Conditioning system running R134A refrigerant keeps the cab cool, ensuring comfort on warm days. The interior maintains a simple, nostalgic look with modern functionality blended seamlessly into the design. Other highlights include a one-piece safety glass windshield, a solid wood bed floor with polished stainless hardware, and chrome trim that enhances its period-correct look. The chrome grille does show pitting, and there are minor cosmetic flaws consistent with a driver-quality truck, but overall, this pickup presents beautifully and runs exceptionally well. With its combination of timeless looks, reliable V8 power, and practical upgrades, this 1946 Chevrolet 3100 is ready to be enjoyed. Whether it's for weekend cruises, local shows, or simply a stylish drive through town, this truck offers the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern usability.
