1946 Dodge Power Wagon Custom Pickup

This 1946 Dodge Power Wagon custom crew-cab pickup is powered by a new crate 5.9-liter 24-valve Cummins turbo-diesel engine paired with a rebuilt 48RE four-speed automatic overdrive transmission with selectable two- and four-wheel drive. The engine produces 400hp and 800 lb-ft of torque in standard mode, with a dial-controlled custom calibration increasing output to 500hp and 900 lb-ft of torque. Completed in September 2026 by Vintage Dream Machines following a two-year build, this custom four-door conversion underwent a frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration using a new Tisdale Coachworks chassis. The suspension features King coilover struts, a four-link rear suspension and a King steering damper. The undercarriage includes a powder-coated frame, polished stainless-steel exhaust system and detailed fuel tank and chassis components. The exterior was stripped to bare metal, prepared with high-build polyester primer and finished in Porsche Chalk with contrasting Porsche Black fenders and running boards. The custom wood bed features hand-laid and sealed Porsche Chalk and black finishes with polished stainless-steel strips. Additional exterior equipment includes a front-mounted 16,500-pound Warn winch and custom 20-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in 37-inch Toyo tires. The custom interior features Deep Merlot leather upholstery with a honeycomb pattern, power-adjustable front seats, a rear bench seat and a hand-sewn wool headliner. A full-length center console incorporates ambient lighting, oversized cup holders, wireless charging and USB ports. The integrated Kicker audio system includes an amplifier, subwoofer and speakers connected to an 11-inch Alpine color touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and Google Maps. Additional equipment includes front and rear cameras, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air digital climate control, push-button start and keyless remote entry. The vehicle has been driven test miles only since the build was completed.
