1946 Ford F100

Vehicle Description 1946 Ford F100 $20,000 Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present 1946 Ford F100, a classic pickup that takes the traditional hot rod formula and turns it up a notch with a raw, unmistakable rat rod attitude. This Ford wears its patina-style appearance proudly, giving it the kind of weathered character that immediately tells you this truck was built to be enjoyed rather than hidden away. One of the first things you will notice is what is missing. There is no hood covering the 350 CID V8, leaving the engine fully exposed and giving this F100 the look of a true old-school hot rod. The combination of the classic Ford pickup body, exposed V8, and patina-style finish creates an aggressive appearance that is hard to ignore. It has the kind of personality that makes you want to hear the engine come to life and hit the road. Underneath, the 350 CID V8 is paired with an automatic transmission, providing a straightforward combination for cruising. A 12-bolt rear end puts the power to the pavement, while rack-and-pinion steering brings a modernized steering setup to this classic Ford. Disc brakes add an important upgrade to the braking system, complementing the truck's hot rod-inspired chassis. This 1946 Ford F100 does not try to be something it isn't. It embraces the rat rod side of the hot rod world with its patina-style finish, exposed engine, classic pickup proportions, and unmistakable attitude. It is a truck built around personality, with the kind of appearance that stands out at a local cruise night, car show, or simply parked in the driveway. 1946 Ford F100 is listed by our Houston Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
