1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Base

Almost completely original 1948 Chevy Fleetmaster. I bought a few years ago out of a friend's Dad's Basement where it had been sitting for decades. It was previously restored before he bought it. Since my ownership a few years ago, I have replaced or rebuilt all brake cylinders, new brake lines, aftermarket carb, installed a GPS speedometer. The original work a few months for me, but then the speed hand would not work properly. I removed it with the odometer working at 43797 original miles and installed the GPS and have driven it 4713 miles more since then.

Last summer I replaced that clutch and pressure plate. Due to age, the liner gave out.

It runs on a the original 6 volt system, I added 12 volt step ups converters , one to run the GPS and one to run the radio/bluetooth unit I clamped under the dash as well as the USB charging outlets.

I drive this car about once a week, usually taking the kids to soccer practice.
